Luxury All Inclusive Tour in Scotland
The Trossachs, Inverness
& the Highlands
16th - 23rd April 2023

This Luxury All Inclusive twin centre tour features two of Scotland’s best hotels for groups, both offering a fantastic All Inclusive package. Each hotel offers lunches, wine with dinner, a free bar in the evening and entertainment on most evenings.

After an overnight stop in Drymen we head north via Pitlochry, our lunchtime stop. This beautiful holiday resort, located on the River Tummel, has been a popular destination for over 150 years, with Queen Victoria amongst its first visitors. We then head to the Palace Hotel & Spa in Inverness, our home for the next 4 nights.

On our first day out we head into the Cairngorms to visit the Speyside Centre, located just outside Grantown-on-Spey (free entry). With an extensive garden centre, large gift shop, restaurant and even a wildlife viewing area, there is plenty to see here. We then head to Elgin, home of Elgin Cathedral – the most beautiful cathedral in Scotland. You can enjoy some free time to browse the shops and attractions, including the impressive Cathedral ruins, the Biblical Garden and Elgin Museum.

Our second day out is a circular scenic drive, starting with a drive down the full length of Loch Ness, home of the fabled monster Nessie. We will make a short stop  at the iconic Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge, before travelling on to Aviemore, where you will have some time at leisure to explore the popular holiday destination, set in the Cairngorms National Park, part of the Scottish Highlands and the UK’s largest National Park.

On your day at leisure you have the chance to explore the famous highland city of Inverness. Take your time browsing the many shops and cafés at leisure, including those located inside the lovely Victorian Market, or explore some of the city’s fantastic attractions, such as the Castle, Cathedral or the Museum and Art Gallery.  Or you may just chose to relax and enjoy the leisure facilities offered in the hotel and enjoy the complimentary afternoon cream tea.

After breakfast we start our return to Drymen, our base for the final two nights. The journey will include a lunchtime stop in Fort William, located in the shadow of the magnificent Ben Nevis. You will have some time to explore this scenic town, known as the Outdoor Capital of the UK. After lunch we will stop in the pretty conservation village of Luss where a settlement has stood since medieval times, although much of the current village dates from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Our final day out begins with a visit to The Kelpies. Standing at an impressive 98ft, the twin horse-head sculptures depict the mythological shape-shifting water spirits reputed to have the strength of 10 horses. We then travel on to Scotland’s capitol, Edinburgh, where you will have time at leisure to explore and perhaps visit some of it’s world famous attractions such as the magnificent Edinburgh Castle perched atop an extinct volcano, the Palace of Holyroodhouse, a favourite residence of the monarchy, or the Scotch Whisky Experience on the Royal Mile.

Our return to the hotel will include a visit to one of the wonders of modern engineering, the Falkirk Wheel. Built to celebrate the Millennium, we take the 50 minute journey as the amazing counterbalance wheel lifts the boat  up to join the Union Canal 35m above and sails smoothly from The Falkirk Wheel onto the Union Canal before returning to your starting point at the Visitor Centre.
